These terms govern your use of www.cyberctrl.io. By using the site you accept them. They do not govern consulting engagements — those are covered by the written agreement signed for the mandate, which prevails over anything on this page.

Using this site

You may read, quote and share what is published here. You may not use the site to break the law, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it or to any system it connects to, interfere with its availability, or extract its contents at a scale that degrades it for others.

The writing published here is not advice

Our articles and guides describe practices we consider sound in general. They are not security, legal or professional advice for your specific circumstances, they cannot account for your environment, and acting on them is your decision. Nothing published here creates a consulting relationship.

Content and trade marks

Text, design and images on this site belong to CyberCtrl unless attributed otherwise. You may quote reasonable extracts with attribution and a link. Republishing whole articles, or using our name or marks in a way that implies endorsement or partnership, requires our written permission.

Client names and logos appear with those clients' permission and remain their property.

Links to other sites

We link to standards bodies, vendor documentation and other third-party material. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Availability

We aim to keep the site available and its content accurate and current, but we do not guarantee either. Content may be changed or removed at any time. The site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, CyberCtrl is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. The courts of the Province of Québec have jurisdiction, in the judicial district where CyberCtrl has its place of business.
